I understand that only the first gen version support lower latency, the 2.0 version dropped it. Gonna test that later. They basically act as a sound device on Windows while automatically being able to connect to your headphones.Interesting, my issue has been that the browser (chrome) is not delaying sound for half a second when streaming media. Can anyone with a pair of MTW earbuds confirm that they have acceptable latency with Windows 10? They’re really comfortable and just sound amazing. There is a battery drain issue when you store the earbuds in the case.
The latency and the stuttering are well noticeable with windows 10I am not quite technically as knowledgeable issue regarding the codecs, but my sennheiser momentum 2 true wireless work fine with my Windows 10. Apparently Windows 10 supports aptX but there's no way to confirm that it's using it over a lesser codec which can be a pain.
The Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds, however, have reportedly improved in a couple of crucial ways, beginning with battery life. Sennheiser’s second attempt at a pair of true wireless earbuds up the battery life, adds noise canceling, and keeps the great sound. Left mine sitting for a few days. This has been the case with Youtube, Netflix, and Hulu. I won’t be picking these up then.
My current generic earbuds have unacceptable lag when streaming video (Netflix, HBO, Youtube, etc). Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Review Update! firmware 1.25.0 go ahead and update now! It is version 4.0.4 and it includes the introduction of a new device management for all connected devices to the headphones as well as several new features as well!
