pathologic 2 full playthrough

Uploader: FonzieD. I played on Xbox, and the console version seems to be much buggier and less optimized than PC; lots of pop-ins, loading delays, glitches, bugs, etc. This makes things more expensive/you sell items for less money. It's probably one of the most worthwhile games in existence. It's recommendable if you like games that give you an experience instead of following classic game tropes. Also consider playing The Marble Nest, it is a polished version of the demo that was released before the game and worth checking out in my opinion :)EDIT: it turned out to be a bit of a wall of text, but I hope it helps. If you finish Marble's Nest, are still not sure whether to keep the game or not and have a bit of time left before the 2 hours mark, then try to start a new game and play through the first short section of the intro(until you reach the cathedral): if things haven't changed too much since the last time I played, it's perhaps the worst part of the game in terms of performance and fps(it can fluctuate significantly, even a lot, depending on where you are in the town), so it should give you an idea of how it will run on your machine in the worst case scenario.I have 112 hrs in and i haven't touched The Marble Nest yet. These are given for collecting all of the other Trophies. For Steam/PC users and Xbox players, you won't have Platinum Achievements, but it's definitely still fun to earn them all!Trophies and Achievements encourage you to see more of what a game has to offer. If you would like to help us write this walkthrough, please post in here. Absolutely my favorite game.It would be nice if other people confirmed if their experience with the game's performance was similar to mine: I have a laptop with a 2070 and a i7-8something, and I remember getting between 30-40 fps and 90-100 at max settings depending on where I was in the town when I tested it after the last patch they did around November; when I first played it in May I was still using my old laptop with a 960M and an i7-4something, and I was getting between 30 and 60 fps at basically minimum settings.I'm sitting at around 93 hours right now, i'm trying to get those couple of pesky last achievements. There's no right answer to this really, but I personally recommend picking The Bachelor for the first playthrough. I had, probably, middle settings and the game never lagged and was very beautiful.I don’t feel this at all tbh. The gameplay isn't "fun" per se, but it fits and enhances the other aspects of the game, so it's excellent too in its own way.Keep in mind that Pathologic 2 can become very hard if you start a new game with the wrong foot or try to play it like a shooter/action game, but I think it's otherwise fairly manageable once you more or less understand how it works; also know that your ability to save everyone(which is not necessary to get to all of the game's endings, but you should honestly try to do it at least once) will depend not only on the choices you make but also at least in part on RNG.You will not regret the purchase, even if you do not complete it.Btw, average playtime is ~30-40 hours. We want the player to always balance on the verge of death, but also always to have an opportunity to drag themselves out (perhaps loading a save or two back—that’s why the game keeps the full history of your saves) Or if you don't mind playing multiple times, you can always go in blind and use it as a learning experience on what to do the next playthrough. To elaborate a bit more on my performance problems: from what I could see while playing on my new laptop, those huge drops in fps seemed to happen mostly inside "generic" buildings and a couple unique locations(like the intro sequence at the start), where the issue seems to be that the game won't fully use my GPU, even with vsync turned off(in those situations I remember seeing my gpu usage stuck under 50% for no apparent reason); inside important buildings(well, the couple I tested briefly), where named NPCs live, the fps seemed to stay around 80-100 fps, which is what I remember getting on average while walking around non infected districts or in the steppe; I didn't get far enough that time to see how it performed in infected districts, those areas are probably a bit more demanding due to particle effects. My suggestion would be to try Marble's Nest first, which can reasonably be completed in a couple hours(in time for a possible refund): it lasts a single in-game day(instead of 12 in the main game) and it will introduce you to most of the game's mechanics, even if you won't really need to deal with the plague, hunger, exhaustion and combat, as it's focused on giving you a taste of the town's atmosphere and some of the themes that are present in the main game.

These are only available at night, after midnight, so check sometime in the early hours of the morning. As I said above, not all Trophies/Achievements are currently available, since the game is only partially released. Just keep an eye out for Reflections, and talk to them when you see them. This game is a masterpiece and will go down as a cult classic, in my opinion. There’s no accounting for taste but if the tone you see in the trailer seems like your kind of thing then definitely give it a go. I'm into it, but I think the newest info should have been highlighted in some way with perhaps a way to zoom in on the 'board'.
