You see it with Ovie too once the producers figured he was a fan favorite they would show clips of him doing nothing.Looking back the producers really pushed them on us. I was skeptical of how much physical chemistry they actually had given how much Dani had to be convinced to couple up with Jack, but I did find their dynamic sweet. Cause Molly & Tommy got a bad edit once and less screen time as they got more disliked. The Dani/Danny link aside (which I do think was an important factor), I do think the relative normalness of Dani and Jack pushed them along, as I feel they were more popular in the public eye for that reason, and so producers honed in on what the public seemed to want. I’ve listened to her on the Love Island podcast and she seems like a genuinely kind and funny person. I’ll use season 5 as an example; who was the producers favorite? This is so the producers can make that person famous and make money off of them when the show ends. In general the season really is the Jack and Dani season because the other couples barely get any screentime compared to the massive amount they did.I guess I’m in the minority in that I thought they were cute during the season.
