I was told at 6 pm someone would be there within the hour. So I called them and was told that they would check into the matter. I have already expressed my thanks to them, but I wanted to post this as well.Duke energy came out and disconnected my services to nonpayment for which I didn’t have the money to pay…but the man who came to disconnect stole out my barn and yard and this happened on June 17 2016 and my lights are still off due to me still not having the funds to pay and I ask could the at least turn them back in until I can pay my bill on the 3 of the month and got shut down by customer service .it is so hot down here in s.c. me and my kids are about to monkey in here ..but anyways service is off and I’m just down on my luck at the moment and needed a Lil help but no can do from duke energy even tho their worker stole from my yard …and I have video!!!

I requested to speak with a manager, as the CSR continued to talk over me, after repeated attempts to request a manager, I ended up YELLING multiple times for her to transfer me to a manager. She told me the disconnect notice doesn’t show up in your paperless statement but I should have received a call and regular mail. Guess not.Duke energy cut my power off yesterday by mistake, this is at 3:30 P. M. And now today (the next day) at 4:40 P. M. It is still not back on. Just cut off power. All of my accounts are in good standing with Duke and always have been.
I can call my bank and get verification, transfer a lot of money, add many accounts, get new credit cards and the list goes on all over verification over the phone.
